We have been working with Border Collies since 1993.  I had owned a Border Collie mix for 12 years before that. That is where I learned about and fell in love with this breed.

   With seeking knowledge and advice from the other well known breeders as to the standards required to establish a progressive breeding program to produce excellent working dogs.  Although we breed for working ability  for herding first, we also have enjoy Obedience, Agility, & Frisbee.

  Proudly located in a old historic farming town of Farmersville in Texas, just northeast of the metropolitan area of Dallas.

   Double-H-Farm Collie puppies can be found throughout the United States and in Canada. They are in working, show, and companion/pet homes.

 Our puppies are not kennel raised.  They are raised in our home and our children help with the raising and handling. They also become socialized with the other animals that we have here: cats, rabbits, chickens and all our other Border Collies.

We also strive to raise each puppy as if it is a part of our family. Our children love playing with each puppy.

   By house raising the puppies it helps get them used to the different sound that are found in a home and a home with children.   By the age of  5 to 6 weeks the puppies go out to our puppy pen to start to learn the sight and sounds that are found outside in the country.  We will not put puppies out if the weather is to hot or to cold for them to stay healthy.

   We start our deworming program at the age of two weeks, then every two weeks until they are leaving for their new homes.  Also the puppies receive an 8 way shot by Fort Dodge at the age of 6 weeks.  Other shots will follow as long as the puppies are still here at the time that the next shots are due.  Heart worm preventative is started if the puppies are here after 10 weeks of age.

1) Practices responsible breeding, with the aim of  maintaining the high quality of the breed.

2) We are working on having our adult breeding stock screened for the genetic diseases which can affect Border Collies. The majority of our crew are young dogs.  As they become of age to be tested.

3) If you find you can no longer keep your dog,  please notify us for it's return to us, or for help in finding it another home.

Our Puppies   

1) Have great temperaments and are very loving.

2) Are well socialized with kids, adults and other animals.

3) Are bred for and exhibit great working/hearding instincts.

4) Are high energy dogs (but not hyper).

5) Are usually well on their way to being housebroken.

6) Are quick learners and eager to please.

7) Make great companions.
